The next generation DLT tape platform, Super DLTtape I is built upon the proven success of the DLT tape system, the most popular midrange platform. The Super DLTtape I cartridge has a native capacity of 110GB on an SDLT 220 drive, 160GB on an SDLT 320, and a native transfer rate of greater than 10MB/second.

Like LTO Ultrium, Super DLT Tape I also has a 4-generation migration path.
