The SDX1-35C is an AIT-1 Tape Cartridge. The SDX1-35C is a cost-effective, high-speed, large-capacity tape storage. AIT uses the Sony-exclusive AME (Advanced Metal Evaporated) tape - 230M Advanced ME Tape that enables the recording and protection of over 35GB of data. Management and retrieval of data is made possible through the use of the revolutionary use of MIC (Memory in Cassette).
The SDX1-35C has bigger storage capacity and length, compared to the SDX1-25C - 35/ 91GB, 230m vs 25/ 65GB, 170m for the AIT1-25C tape.
